This new facility is Singapore's first on-airport perishables handling centre to handle terminal and transshipment perishables perishable cargo within the Free Trade Zone. With multi-tired zones of different temperatures ranging from -28 degree C to 18 degree C , Coolport has the ability to handle a wide range of perishable commodities such as frozen/ chilled/live seafood, poultry, meat, fresh produce, flowers as well as pharmaceutical products.
Located within SATS Airfreight Terminal 2, Coolport@Changi has an annual handling capacity of approximately 250,000 tonnes and offers a host of value-added propositions including warehousing and redistribution services, inventory management and control, and ripening facilities to provide a complete cold chain logistics solution.
